Pakistani FM in Tehran for Talks

Pakistani Foreign Secretary Inamul Haque arrived in Tehran on Friday afternoon for a three-day stay in Tehran, where he will discuss boosting bilateral relations, according to the Dawn internet edition.  

He will also brief Iranian authorities on the details of the discussions recently held by the heads of Pakistan and India in Agra, said the report, which quoted Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman Riaz Mohammad Khan as telling reporters on Thursday that Pakistan-Iran talks would mainly focus on expansion of trade and economic ties.  

"The foreign secretary will brief the Iranian side about the Agra summit,” said Khan. 

"He will be holding extensive talks with his Iranian counterpart [Kamal Kharrazi] and will also call on Iranian leaders," he added – Albawaba.com
