Osama bin Laden's last will and testament was declassified and made public after lengthy reviews by United States government agencies, the Associated Press reported.
The al-Qaeda leader's documents claimed he had roughly $29 million in his personal fortune, the majority of which he wished to be used "on jihad, for the sake of Allah," in reference to extremist militant attacks.
The will was released to the public on Tuesday, along with 100 other documents seized in the May 2011 raid that killed him at his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
Some of bin Laden's fortune was to be divided among his relatives, but set aside the majority of the money to fund the work of the al-Qaeda network behind the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
