A Pakistani social welfare organization based in Qatar is creating a booklet to help newly arrived compatriots in Doha, reported the Gulf Times newspaper.

Zaka Ullah, coordinator of a local Pakistani help line, said the guidebook would be of great help to those arriving in Doha for the first time.

“These people do not know the procedures to get necessary documents in the absence of proper information,” he said.

The booklet will be published in English and Urdu, and distributed free of charge.

The book will contain information about the climate, major shopping centers, airlines and travel agents offices, residence permits and Pakistani schools. In addition, it will have important and emergency telephone numbers – Albawaba.com
