ALBAWABA- In a significant development, the Sultanate of Oman has announced the cancellation of a previous agreement that permitted Israeli aircraft to traverse Omani airspace.

This decision, which took effect on October 29, 2023, will remain in place until further notice. The move effectively bars Israeli aircraft from accessing Omani airspace.

While the Omani government has cited security reasons for this decision, Hebrew sources suggest that the restriction is temporary in nature.
