A new system for renewing car licences at Eppco petrol stations is to be launched as soon as Eid al-Fiter holiday ends. The aim of the new system is to improve the registration process by making it more efficient and convenient for car owners in Dubai.
Eppco petrol stations will now work from 7am until 9pm, according to Gulf News.
Major General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, the head of the Dubai Police, announced that he has transferred officers of the Dubai Traffic Department to make car licence renewals more efficient at Eppco petrol stations.
He added that next year a small factory for number plates is to be established at Eppco petrol stations. In addition, he plans to provide training for the staff on the car registration process at the Eppco petrol stations. (Albawaba.com)
