The “Jeunesse Scolaire” (educated youth) organization celebrated on March 1, the international civil protection day, which was marked worldwide, by setting of a series of cultural and informative events focused on youths and their development in Tunisia. The long series of events include various educational workshops aimed at teaching ways of improving the life quality of teenagers in the country and protecting their civil rights. For example one of the sessions is aimed at improving youth communication skills via internet and teaching them how to use sites that deal with civil rights protection.
<i>La Presse</i> reports that the events are going to take place in the regional centers of the government of Grand Tunis (Marsa, the city of Tunis, Le Bardo et El Menzah) and are scheduled to continue until March 7.
