New media training centre opens in Jordan

Jordanian News Agency (Petra) on Monday inaugurated a training centre, which was established in cooperation with UNESCO. The new centre, equipped by up to date technology, launched on Monday the first training course for 20 participants. The three day training course, titled "Journalist protection and rights" includes working papers presented by specialists from the University of Jordan covering topics such as freedom of opinion in the Jordanian Law System, and Development of Jordanian Journalism.
