ALBAWANA - In a landmark move, Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu paid a visit to Israeli forces stationed in the northern Gaza Strip, marking his inaugural appearance in the region since the commencement of hostilities between Israel and Palestine on October 7.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed unwavering determination in the face of an ongoing conflict, asserting that his nation possesses the strength and will to achieve the war's objectives. Quoting Netanyahu, news agency Reuters conveyed his resolute stance.
"We will persevere until victory; nothing can deter us. Am Yisrael Chai," stated Netanyahu's office in a message shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Addressing the troops, Netanyahu outlined three primary objectives: the elimination of Hamas, the return of all hostages, and the assurance that Gaza does not pose a future threat to Israel. Emphasizing the commitment to releasing hostages held by Hamas since October 7, he affirmed, "Every effort is being made to secure the return of our hostages, and we will succeed."
With the conflict entering its 51st day, Netanyahu, clad in protective gear including a helmet and body armor, underscored Israel's unwavering commitment to recovering all hostages.
During the visit, Netanyahu, accompanied by a contingent of senior military and political figures, explored one of the Hamas tunnels recently uncovered by Israeli soldiers.
The development emphasizes the persisting tensions in the area and Israel's resolute dedication to securing the safe release of its citizens currently in captivity.
