A nationalist candidate is well ahead in the latest opinion poll for the Bosnian Serb presidency less than a month away from the November 11 elections, reported (AFP)

Mirko Sarovic, the nationalist candidate for the Serb-run entity Republika Srpska, had an overwhelming 69 percent support rate in the poll by the independent bimonthly Ekstra magazine.

Sarovic is now vice president of the Republika Srpska and a member of the nationalist Serb Democratic Party.

The moderate candidate, Milorad Dodik, had support from just 31 percent among the 445 poll respondents, who were asked to choose between the two favourites, out of six candidates.

Dodik is caretaker prime minister of the Republika Srpska and leader of the Party of Independent Socialist-Democrats.

The latest poll was in line with earlier surveys by the magazine – (AFP)
