Muslims Hail Turkey's Support For Palestinians Amidst UAE-Israel Deal

Jerusalem’s provincial religious authority for Muslims on Tuesday hailed Turkey's support for the Palestinian cause.

Speaking with Ahmet Riza Demirer, head of the temporary Turkish mission to Palestine, Muhammed Hussein stressed the "depth of historical ties between the Palestinians and the Turks."


Hussein urged Arabs and Muslims to fulfill their responsibilities towards the Palestinian people and protect their sacred places.

The mufti also briefed the Turkish ambassador about the Palestinian situation under Israeli occupation.

In turn, Demirer stressed the depth of the strong relations between the Turks and Palestinians.
