Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is planning a tour of European and Arab nations in early September, as part of Egypt’s "political and diplomatic contacts with a number of countries regarding the Palestinian crisis."
Egyptian sources told the Kuwaiti news agency, KUNA, Saturday that Mubarak would visit Syria and Saudi Arabia before flying to Europe and Morocco.
The sources did not identify the European countries Mubarak would visit.
They said that Mubarak’s talks with Syrian and Saudi leaders would focus on coordinating positions to support the Palestinian people by sending international monitors and putting an end to Israel’s policy of assassinating resistance leaders – Albawaba.com
