One person was stabbed to death inside a mosque in India by miscreants who also hurled bombs at the building damaging its wall in the district of Tamil Nadu in the early hours of Sunday, The Times of India reported.
The daily quoted a police source as saying "unidentified miscreants threw bombs at a mosque in the Crescent Nagar area, damaging a portion of the front wall."
They then entered the mosque and pulled the caretaker of the mosque Abdul Rasheed from the kitchen and stabbed him. At the time Abdul Rasheed had been preparing food for the early morning meal which is eaten before sunrise during Ramdan, the official told the paper -- Albawaba.com
