SNRT (the national company of Radio and Television will organize a national song competition from November 5 until December 20 to choose the best Moroccan song in 2005. <i>Albayane</i> reports that the competition will include two categories, which are modern songs and the Amazighi songs categories. To promote the event, Moroccan songs to compete in the contest will be broadcasted daily on SNRT. The contest is named as “Abdendi Al Jirari edition for the best song of 2005” to pay tribute to Abdendi Al Jirari, who is one of the most famous Moroccan maestros.
