Morocco and the United Arab Emirates have decided to set up a partnership commission for investments, Morocco’s official news agency, MAP, reported Friday.

The commission, MAP said, will conduct the needed studies for investment and carry out projects in partnership with the two Arab countries’ private sectors.

A group of businessmen representing both sides met on Tuesday to survey opportunities for UAE investments in Morocco.

The meeting was attended by the deputy governor of Dubai and UAE finance and industry minister, Sheikh Hamdane Ben Rached Al Maktoum, who was accompanied by Telecommunications Minister Ahmed Hamid Tair and officials from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce – Albawaba.com
