The transit service between Spain and Morocco will be considerably reinforced this summer, as of June 15 to September 15, in preparation of the expected huge wave (more than 88,000) of Moroccan expatriates, who will wish to visit their homeland during this period.
The decision to reinforce the service was made during a meeting of the Moroccan-Spanish Joint Committee responsible for the operation of the transit service between the two countries, held recently in Grenade.
Bladi.Net reports that this year, 34 boats (of 12 maritime companies) and 94 vehicles will take part in the transit service in order to prevent the long queues in front of the points of maritime passage.
