Moroccan Minister of Communication Nabil Benabdellah has recently announced that Moroccan government will allocate 440 million dollars to promote Moroccan cinema. <i>MAP</i> reports that Morocco produces 15 feature films and 5-10 short films per year. Minister of Communication underlined that subsidies to cinema increased from 220 million to 330 million in the last couple of years adding that the Ministry is committed to promote Moroccan film sector.
