Morocco’s King Mohammed VI has granted 493 prisoners partial or total amnesties, the justice ministry said. The amnesties, according to AFP, in which 127 detainees saw their terms cut altogether, were decreed to mark the August 20th anniversary of King Mohammed V's exile in 1953.
