Morocco’s King Mohammed VI received in Marrakesh Wednesday, visiting finance and economy minister of Cote D'Ivoire, Bohoun Bouabre, who delivered him a message from Ivoirian president, Laurent Gbagbo.
Following the meeting, which took place in the presence of Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa and delegate minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Taib Fassi Fihri, the envoy of the Ivoirian president said he was happy to see that the sovereign was "very understanding" regarding the crisis in his country.
According to Maghreb Arabe Presse, the Ivoirian minister said the king was the first African leader to send a message of support to the Ivoirian president when the crisis first broke out, adding that he also heard the advice of the king on means to settle the crisis in the west African country.
