Missile attack on MAERSK container ship in Red Sea

According to Reuters, the Maersk container ship confirmed the missile strike, and the U.S. Central Command noted that action was taken by an American destroyer, intercepting two missiles launched from areas controlled by the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

ALBAWABA- In a breaking development, the U.S. Central Command reports that the Danish container ship "Maersk Hangzhou," flying the Singapore flag, was struck by a missile while navigating south of the Red Sea on Saturday. 

There are no reported injuries from the attack.

 According to Reuters, the Maersk container ship confirmed the missile strike, and the U.S. Central Command noted that action was taken by an American destroyer, intercepting two missiles launched from areas controlled by the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
