Melody Aflam Conquests Silver & Bronze Awards In Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival

For the first time ever a winner comes up from Egypt in the 57th Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival; the most prestigious annual international advertising festival in the world. From more than 22,500 worldwide entries, Melody Aflam wins the Silver Lion for copywriting in film craft & the Bronze Lion in Film category with its campaign "Arabic Films...The mother of all foreign films" - "Aflam Arabi...Om El Agnaby".

The Film Craft Lions category received 1,110 entries; the inaugural Jury President was Jon Kamen, Chairman and CEO of @radical.media who, along with his jury, shortlisted 96 entries and awarded Melody Aflam the Silver Lions or copywriting & Of the 3,191 entries in the Film category, the jury, chaired by Mark Tutssel, Global Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Worldwide, shortlisted 362 entries of which Melody Aflam was awarded the Bronze Lions.
