ALBAWABA- Residents of Hesn Basim village in Wadi Dawa'an, Hadramout Governorate, central-eastern Yemen, experienced a terrifying event on Wednesday afternoon when a sudden mountain collapse occurred. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported, according to local sources.

A video circulated on social media went viral, showing huge rocks falling on the houses in the area, leaving mountains of dust covering the entire region and causing panic among the residents in the valley.

However, the area’s rugged terrain poses a significant risk to the local population. The residents' homes are situated in valleys beneath precarious mountains, creating a constant threat of landslides. 

Wadi Dawa'an is renowned for producing some of the world's finest and most expensive Yemeni honey. The region is dotted with honeybee farms, with Dawa'ani honey celebrated for its purity, originality, and exceptional taste.
