The most comprehensive education, training and careers event ever to be held in the United Arab Emirates, NAJAH, will take place from 4-6th of November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The Emiratization Council which will offer career's counselling advice at the show to students, parents and potential employers, Najah will be taking place in the new Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, providing visitors with the opportunity to meet leading international and regional providers of education, training and career development programmes, initiatives and opportunities. More than 500,000 students are now attending schools and colleges in the UAE with generous grants available for those wishing to study abroad. The UAE’s youth have increasing access to higher education and training programmes, making NAJAH a dynamic business opportunity for anyone offering quality services in the education, training and careers market place.
Education has become a huge focus for the government of the UAE. The population has increased by more than 5 per cent annually over the past 17 years to record the highest growth rate in the Arab world. Almost 50% of the population in the UAE is under 20 years of age; therefore education and careers information are of huge interest to a large proportion of the population.
In 2006 alone, an investment of Dh9.2 billion had been allocated specifically to the education sector. This figure represented 37% of the total federal budget. In addition, the UAE Ministry of Education have adopted ‘Education 2020’, a series of five year plans designed to introduce advanced educational techniques, improve innovation skills and focus more on the self-learning abilities of students.
