ALBAWABA - The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said that a 5.7-magnitude earthquake hit Ethiopia on Saturday. The quake happened 10 kilometers below the surface. The quake is the most recent in a string of earthquakes that have hit the country this year, raising fears that volcanoes could erupt in the areas that were affected. Geological records show that Ethiopia has had 29 earthquakes since the beginning of 2025 ...
