After two days of clashes between Daesh militants and Fajr Dawn, families have begun to flee the coastal city of Sirte, Reuters reports.
Witnesses saw families heading westwards towards Misrata. Misrata serves as the stronghold for Libya's Fajr Dawn fighters who support the Tripoli-based government.
Families flee ongoing violence and fuel shortages, which have paralyzed the city.
Daesh militants have seized government buildings, a hospital, and a university in Sirte since clashes erupted days ago.
