Lebanon’s Minister of Electricity and Water Resources, Suleiman Traboulsi, left for Moscow on Wednesday on an official visit to discuss possible cooperation with Russia to build dams and in oil exploration, the Lebanese Daily Star reported.
Traboulsi, will hold talks with officials at the Russian Foreign Trade and Energy Ministries during the week-long visit, the daily said.
“We will discuss issues related to oil exploration and other general issues regarding oil and building dams,” Traboulsi said.
He added “we have a 10-point plan and we intend to contract three dam projects at the beginning of 2001, which are the Shabrouh, Yammouneh and Qismani dams.” – Albawaba.com
