Lebanon and Qatar signed a trade, technical and economic cooperation agreement on Wednesday, following a draft agreement that had been signed in Beirut on November 19th, 1999, reported the Daily Star newspaper.
The agreement calls for the free import and export of industrial, agricultural and animal products between the two countries.
Other provisions include cooperating in international exhibitions and festivals held in the two countries, setting up joint technical ventures in the private and public sectors, exchanging technical experts, and coordinating efforts in research, technical and industrial studies.
The agreement stated that the two countries would settle any dispute through consultations and friendly negotiations, said the paper - Albawaba.com
