Lebanon will present a draft resolution to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) meeting opening Monday in Mali to demand the release of detainees held in Israeli jails, and affirm Lebanon's right to compensation for human and material losses resulting from Israeli attacks, government sources said Friday.
The draft will condemn Israel's continued aggression against Lebanon, including the recent attack on a Syrian military radar post, the sources told the Daily Star newspaper.
In addition, the draft will urge the international community to exert pressure on Israel to hand over maps of land mines planted during its occupation – Albawaba.com
