Lebanon’s Interior and Municipalities Minister Elias Murr has renewed his call to municipalities to remove illegally placed advertising billboards, the Daily Star reported Wednesday.
An official decree issued by the ministry said, the “governors and [administrators] are urged to inform municipalities and municipalities’ unions to remove violations...within a maximum of three months.”
According to the circular, both governors and administrators should submit “detailed reports” to the interior ministry on illegal billboards that have not been removed by the end of the three months' notice – Albawaba.com
