Lebanese Oil Minister Suleiman Traboulsi increased fuel prices on Tuesday, citing inflated international prices for crude oil, reported the Daily Star on Wednesday.
According to the paper, the price of 98-octane and unleaded gasoline increased by LL300 ($0.20) and LL400 respectively, to LL15,600 per 20 liters; 92-octane fuel also rose in price. Every 20 liters will now sell for LL15,300, up from LL14,900.
As for kerosene and diesel, the prices increased by LL200 and LL500 to LL10,100 and LL9,700 respectively, according to the memorandum, said the daily.
