A 16-year-old boy stabbed his sister to death after her husband told him he suspected she was having affairs, Lebanon’s police said, quoted by Daily Star.
Police said Suad Zaim Sheikh, a 22-year nomad, was stabbed to death by her brother at 2 am on Saturday. Sheikh, who sustained several stab wounds, bled to death after she crawled out of her tent in the Arida area near the Lebanese-Syrian border to call for help.
The body was discovered by Akkar police, who were notified after nearby residents heard a child wailing, said the paper.
Sheikh was reportedly sleeping next to her 3-year-old son and her father when her brother came in, put his hand over her mouth to muffle her cries and stabbed her.
