A suicide bomber killed at least 15 people and injured 40 others on Thursday at a military base in Iraq's western Anbar province, the army said.
According to the AP, an Iraqi officer said the attack occurred at the joint base shared by Iraqi soldiers and U.S. troops in Habbaniyah about 70 kilometers west of Baghdad. He added the bomber walked up to a group of soldiers headed for a base canteen and then detonated his explosives.
