The delegation of the Kuwaiti national assembly's finance and economy committee held talks on Tuesday with the speaker of the Iranian Shura (consultative) council Mahdi Karoubi.
The Kuwait news agency (Kuna) said that the talks covered ways of promoting bilateral parliamentary cooperation.
It added that the speaker of the Kuwaiti national assembly, Jassem al-Khorafi, will pay a visit to Tehran soon.
Karoubi praised the level of cooperation between Iran and Kuwait in all fields, pointing out his country's keenness on further promoting relations with its neighbors. (albawaba.com)
