A senior Kuwaiti envoy is expected to visit Russia on Sunday to convey a message from emir Sheikh Jaber al-Sabah to his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, diplomatic sources were quoted as saying by the official KUNA news agency.
The sources told the agency that former oil minister, Sheikh Saud Nasser al-Sabah will also meet with foreign minister Igor Ivanov to discuss issues of common interest.
The discussions would focus on issues related to the Middle East, especially the Iraqi-Kuwaiti conflict and the Palestinian Intifada – Albawaba.com
