Kuwait’s information minister quits after clash in Parliament

The Kuwaiti Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Shaikh Salman Al-Humood, has quit following a row with parliament, submitting his resignation to the Cabinet during its weekly meeting. 

According to Arabic newspaper, Alqabad, the minister left the meeting after handing in his resignation.

The comes after MPs Walid Al-Tabtabai, Al-Hamidi Al-Subai and Abdulwahab Al-Babteen submitted a demand to parliament to question the minister.
