Kids Olympic Games enters fourth day

With only two more days left for Kids Olympic Games to end, parents and children thronged Ibn Battuta Mall, a key sponsor of DSS 2008 and a member of Dubai Shopping Malls Group, for the fourth day of the exciting Games.

The Baby Dancing contest, the Three Legged Race, and the Remote Control Car race were held on July 14.  The Baby Dancing competition witnessed hilarious scenes as parents tried effortlessly to make their children dance to music. In the Three Legged Race, parents teamed up with their children to reach the finish line on literally three legs.

Contests for July 16
The contests for July 16 are Bulls Eye, the Tricycle Race, and the Remote Control Car race. The Bulls Eye contest is being held for toddlers in two age groups: between 12 and 18 months old, and between 18 and 24 months old. In the competition, parents will have to call out to their babies from across a large dart board. Once the baby is on the dart board, parents have to get their toddler to sit closest to the centre. The baby who sits in the centre in the shortest time and accuracy is the winner.

The Tricycle Race, which was held in the opening day of the Games, returns on July 16 for children between the ages of 3 and 5. The participants for the race will be provided tricycles by CX Ferrari Bicycles, the sponsors of the Tricycle event.

Kids Olympic Games 2008 will conclude on July 17.
