Iranian President Mohammad Khatami has condemned the terrorist suicide bombing attacks in the Moroccan city of Casablanca, the official IRNA news agency reported on Sunday.
In a message to Moroccan King Mohammad VI, Khatami said: "I condemn on the part of the Islamic Republic of Iran's people and its government the bitter bombing incidents in residential districts and the massacre of citizens, and condole the noble Moroccan government and people and families of the victims on this terrorist move."
"No pretext can justify the killing of defenseless people and creation of terror situations," Khatami said.
The Iranian president also called for "organizing and pushing ahead the global coalition against terrorism, violence and war" with the help of "religion, ethics and politics" while double standards and unilateral approaches be shunned.
"Any ifs and buts in this cause will increase dangers and expenses of the whole world," Khatami added. (Albawaba.com)
