Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates Raises Funds for the Dubai Centre for Special Needs

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates held its third annual Christmas Stollen Baking Event at the Mall of the Emirates Galleria on Saturday 13th December.

Dubai’s favourite family restaurant, Sezzam, baked and sold an amazing 350 metres of the popular delicacy in support of Dubai Centre for Special Needs. Each purchase of a loaf of Stollen received a rousing cheer and applause from the Sezzam sales staff, festive season shoppers were drawn to the exciting event, delighting in the delicious Stollen and generously contributing to the cause.

“We were overwhelmed and thrilled by the generosity seen on Saturday, many keen shoppers bought two and three loaves of Stollen, plus donated money on top of their purchase,” said Holger Schroth, General Manager, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.

Students from the Dubai Centre for Special Needs dropped by to assist Sezzam’s busy sales staff. Wearing Santa hats and sharing in the festive spirit, the Students enthusiastically engaged shoppers with sample trays of Stollen for everyone to enjoy.
The festive sentiment of generosity continues at Mall of the Emirates, Dubai’s popular retail and leisure centre. Specially wrapped gift boxes have been placed under the 13 metre-high festive tree in the Galleria of the mall. Visitors are requested to come forward and donate presents there, which will also be distributed to children at the Dubai Centre for Special Needs.

Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates is now diligently calculating the funds raised from sales and together with Ski Dubai and Mall of the Emirates will present a cheque and donated presents to the Dubai Centre for Special Needs at a festive Christmas Eve (24th December) gathering at 4:00pm at the impressive Christmas Tree at the Mall of the Emirates Galleria.
