A Jordan-based information company has chosen the US InfoCom Corporation to host the Arabic "esayyarat.com" web site which offers a variety of online services for car shoppers, dealers and enthusiasts.
A statement by Tantash Information Systems (TIS) said that car buyers can search through a database of new and used cars, place different car models side by side to compare specifications, and post "car wanted" messages on the web site.
Hakam Ziadeh, TIS's Internet Solution Manager said that the group searched thoroughly for a company that offered MS SQL hosting with Arabic character set support.
"InfoCom offers shared server hosting service with Arabic characters set on support on MS SQL server. This has enabled us to launch our site in a short period of time, and serve our web audience," said Ziadehin the statement -- Albawaba.com
