ALBAWABA - In a statement, the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) announced that a Sergeant serving in the Jordanian Private Field Hospital in Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip had suffered a gunshot wound from an anonymous source to the right thigh while performing his duties in the hospital.
The JAF official spokesman mentioned that necessary medical treatment was administered, and a surgical procedure to remove the metal fragment, and exploration of arteries and nerves were performed, with his overall condition reported as stable, the statement read.
The official spokesperson of the Arab Army affirmed that there was no material damage and that all personnel at the hospital were in good health. The medical teams operating in the Gaza Strip continue to provide medical services, fulfilling their humanitarian duty to the people and brethren in the region.
