The Jordanian Government has announced that it is planning to present a political initiative at the Arab summit, due
to be held in Tunisia next month.
Asma Khadir, the spokeswoman for the Jordanian Government, said the initiative pertains to the peace process in the Middle East as well as to the reform of the Arab League and development of the Arab human rights convention.
In a statement, Asma Khadir noted that a number of Arab countries had approved some of the Jordanian proposals in this respect.
She pointed out that the Arab summit will discuss several important topics including the reform of the Arab League and development of the Arab human rights convention. (Albawaba.com)
