Jordan denied Tuesday Israeli allegations that there was an infiltration attempt into the West Bank from Jordan, reported Al-Jazira satellite channel, quoting official sources.
The Israeli army said Monday that they declared a state of emergency in the Jordan Valley after they discovered infiltration attempt in the area, said the report.
Jordan said that Israeli claims were baseless, according to Al-Jazira.
Last week, two Israeli soldiers were injured when anonymous persons opened fire at their patrol from the Jordanian side of River Jordan.
