Hackers attacked the Jordanian prime minister's office website late Saturday, according to AFP. Authorities identified "Anonymous Jordan," a hacktivist sub-group associated with the global group Anonymous, as responsible for the attack and have announced that the perpetrators will be punished accordingly.

The hackers left a message to the Prime Minister in protest against high taxes, particularly in response to the recent decision to rise taxes on imported clothes from five to twenty percent.
