In the past three days Jordan's airforce has conducted 56 raids against Daesh in northeast Syria, reports Reuters.

"We achieved what we aimed at. We destroyed logistics centers, arms depos and targeted hideouts of their fighters," General Mansour al-Jbour, head of the Jordanian airforce, told a news conference.

According to General Mansour al-Jbour, the attacks have led to the "degrading" of nearly 20 percent of the hardline militants' capabilities.

"We are determined to wipe them from the face of the earth," he concluded.

The airstrikes began following Daesh's brutal burning of Jordanian pilot Muath al-Kasasbeh, who had been held hostage by terrorists since his plane crashed into Raqqa on December 24th, 2014.
