A swarm of jellyfishes, stretching from the Balearic Islands in Spain to Wadi Laou in Morocco, is threatening tourism in Morocco's seashores. This year, explain the scientists, the maritime invader is the "Pelagia Noctiluca", which poses a lesser danger to bathers, than the kind spotted last year. However, this kind of jellyfishes can also leave a feeling of painful burning for several minutes.

EMarrakech reports that despite the absence of alarming cases, the fear caused by this "invasion" has started to be felt in the tourist sector in the region, mainly in cities such as Fnideq, which have already suffered from winter inertia.
