Japanese Foreign Affairs Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi on Monday stressed the important and pivotal role Syria plays in the Mid-east peace and stability process, according to SANA news agency.
During a meeting between Kawaguchi and Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Issa Darwish, who handed her a letter from Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara, talks focused on Middle East peace, the situation in Iraq and bilateral relations between both countries. (Albawaba.com)
