Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi arrived in the Tunisian capital Monday on a two-day visit to discuss bilateral relations and broader regional issues, said reports.
Ciampi, who is traveling with his spouse, went into a first round of meetings with his Tunisian counterpart, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, following an official welcoming ceremony at the capital's airport, said AFP.
