ALBAWABA - Channel 12 reports that members of the War Cabinet were taken aback by the sudden cancelation of the meeting, which was scheduled for this evening. When they asked for an explanation, they were told that the talks would have to wait until a later time.

Israeli media received information from government sources indicating that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was attempting to evade pressure from War Cabinet members over a possible prisoner exchange deal with Hamas. Before sending the proposed prisoner exchange agreement to the cabinet, Netanyahu allegedly asked Hamas for "concrete" answers on its terms.

Israel's War Cabinet was formed soon after the attacks on the Gaza Strip began on October 7, 2023, and it has participated in the conflict's decision-making process.

At least 31,988 Palestinians have died as a result of the attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7. Among the casualties were 74,188 persons, including 14,000 children and 9,220 women. Thousands of victims are reportedly still trapped in the debris, and attacks have been made on civilian infrastructure, including schools and hospitals.
