ALBAWABA- Israel’s relentless assault on Gaza continues, with at least 65 Palestinians killed in air and artillery strikes across the enclave since this morning.
The attacks, including intense shelling in eastern Jabalia, come as Gaza's humanitarian crisis deepens.
Among the victims were two Palestinian journalists, including an Al Jazeera Mubasher reporter whose vehicle was hit in northern Gaza.
The Gaza Health Ministry reports that at least 50,082 Palestinians have been killed and 113,408 wounded since the war began.
However, Gaza’s Government Media Office puts the death toll at over 61,700, citing thousands of people still buried under rubble and presumed dead.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military admitted to firing on a Red Cross building in Rafah, claiming it mistook the facility for a threat.
Though no casualties were reported, the attack follows recent Israeli strikes on a UN building that killed one staff member and injured five others.
Aid workers and humanitarian facilities have been repeatedly targeted throughout Israel’s ongoing military campaign in Gaza.
