ALBAWABA- Medical sources reported to Al Jazeera that 52 Palestinians have been killed in relentless Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip since dawn. Among the casualties is one person killed by Israeli shelling in the Asdaa area, northwest of Khan Yunis, where displaced people had sought refuge.
Another nine, mostly women and children, were killed in an attack on the Deir al-Balah market in central Gaza. The Israeli occupation continues to target shelters across the Strip.
Hamas accused the Israeli government of pursuing a "war of extermination" after an Israeli strike on a school in Gaza City, sheltering thousands of displaced civilians, killed at least 12 people.
This attack occurred as children were engaged in activities near the school. Hamas has held U.S. President Biden and his administration fully responsible for the ongoing massacres.
Civil defense officials in Gaza confirmed that the strike on the Mostafa Hafez school adds to the growing toll of civilian deaths.
Yesterday alone, Israeli forces targeted schools housing refugees, killing 36 civilians, including women and children, in displacement centers.
Despite claims by the U.S. Secretary of State of ongoing peace efforts, the Israeli military campaign continues with full U.S. support, disregarding global efforts to end the aggression.
Over the past ten and a half months, the conflict has resulted in more than 40,000 deaths, half of whom are women and children, and approximately 110,000 wounded.
The relentless bombing has displaced 90% of Gaza’s population, with 75% of its infrastructure either completely or partially destroyed.
