ALBAWABA - In a shocking turn of event, an investigative journalism program was able to identify Israeli soldiers who were involved in the massacre of 6-year-old girl Hind Rajab, whose story ignited outrage not only in the Middle East but worldwide.
Journalists at "The Hidden Is More Immense" prgram were able to reach the names and the photos of Israeli soldiers involved in the murder of the Palestinian girl Hind Rajab, who was shot dead in January 2024, south of Gaza City.
What exactly happened to Hind Rajab?
On Jan. 29, 2024, the Israeli forces committed a massacre in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in southern Gaza, resulting in the death of 6-year-old Hind Rajab, along with six members of her family, and two Palestinian Red Crescent crews who were on the way to rescue her.
At the beginning, Hind, who survived amidst the bodies of her family inside the targeted car, made a touching call to her mother, pleading for help as the vehicle was subjected to a barrage of Israeli tank fire. This scene documented one of the most brutal episodes of the Israeli aggression and one that had a profound impact on global public opinion.
The Red Crescent later received a call from Layan Hamada, who was with Hind in the same car. She called for help from ambulance crews, but the sound of gunfire ended the call. Subsequent attempts revealed that Hind was still alive, prompting an ambulance crew to head to the scene, who pleaded for help.

Who is involved in the killing of Hind Rajab?

In addition, Al Jazeera investigation revealed that another participants in the murder of Hind Rajab was soldier Itai Shokirkov, and he holds Argentine nationality.
Israeli soldier Bani Ahron, a commander in the 401th armored forces is also linked to the murder of the Palestinian girl. Nonetheless, Hind Rajab Foundation announced for the first time that it has filed a lawsuit against the soldier Shimon Zuckerman, who holds German citizenship, Al Jazeera added.
However, contact with the rescue crew was lost hours after the operation, and their fate remained unknown for 12 days, amid the Israeli authorities' secrecy about the details of the operation.
About a month later, after the Israeli army's withdrewal from the area, the bodies of Hind and her family were found inside their vehicle near the Finance Roundabout in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood. The bodies of the ambulance crew that responded to her rescue were also found nearby.
